DONE
The documentary is complete and I think it turned out really awesome! It's a little over 7 minutes long, short and sweet. I didn't want to go too nuts with the length because I thought it would get sort of boring and repetitive for those watching that are not that into skateboarding. The voice overs turned out great and really add a nice touch to the video footage I have. It doesn't take you out of the moment like I think traditional interviews kind of do. Asking the same questions over and over to different people from a straight on camera angle with no really aesthetic view just did not sound appealing to me. I wanted to do something that would add to the video not take something away. I like the flow of the video and think it transitions well from scene to scene and I think the musical choices work very well with the feel and the pace of the video. Overall, I really enjoyed working on this project and enjoy watching my video, which I cannot say for some of the other video projects I have created. This was about something I actually like and wanted to film and wanted to do a project on so I am very pleased I got the opportunity to do this project and pleased on how it turned out. I think it will make the skaters proud!
